Dad and I went backpacking into the Uinta mountains, the only mountain range in the US that runs East to West instead of north to south. I took this photo and painted it because in my Foundation 2 class the weather has been too bad to go landscape painting so I did this to make up for that. Acrylic paint on a 9X12 board canvas

My closest Grandpa died of cancer, my other one is still alive but... he works in a graveyard... and he's crazy, so I'm not allowed to visit.
