EDIT: I fixed a typo and changed what the Spambot was saying in frame 2 cuz it was causing the wrong reaction.

XD, I worked in a call center as a verification specialist for pharmesuitical billing purposes on workers compensation claims and even when you had genuine business purpose in calling, people are mean.
And for some reason, Illinoise was the meanest, even Wisconsin folk I spoke to told me there was tention between the two states. Nobody wanted to work that state in the company I was with. I acutally cried when I was calling that area. Unless Illinoise nurses and insurance adjusters were just mean.
But so long as I don't have to do that job again, I have nothing against Illinoise.

I never say a word to telemarketers. I just hang up the moment I realize it is one.

Though there was the one time when I was learning Spanish back in High School (and back then it was not a requirement from certain jobs to speak Spanish like it is now) and I answered the telemarketer in Spanish and had a hoot playing around with the poor guy.

Though nowadays if I do it again I'll do it in German. :D

my friend makes and receives calls for scheduling at his job and he has perfected the automated teller voice so well that people will actually wait silently for the part where they are supposed to hear "to do this press 1, to do this press 2" because they think he is just a recording

I agree with you totally on this one... I work in a technical help desk for my company's computer systems and such. One of the contracts we have is that we talk to students and assist them with getting their computer set up for them to take classes. One day I was actually called a "stupid, automated, computer guy". People suck!
