Flegan and Moscar were brothers; since they were maggots they had stayed together and looked out for each other. Yeah the cooriagraphing is lame but I had to keep it short. There are better things to do like jokes instead of all this silent nonsesicle action. I was thinking of making it like those old Batman cartoons.
Pow* Blarksie* Ka-slpoodle ...etc But then I thought that just isn't as piratey as "punch" and "crash" I put a crash sound cause that is his name XD.

Anywho here is what Jonesie is sayin on frame 7:
"you Bludering idiots you'll be swabbing the Dutchman with yer kidneys fer that. You'll serve for an eternity. I'll use the lot of ye for hull decorations, you'll rot in the brig forever. I JUST LOVE THE LOOK ON DAVY'S FACE. especially when he's telling them off. or more like screaming his lungs out. or yelling (whatev suits you). I think it's kind of cool how his hat corners are turned backwards. It reminds me of a pissed-off cat (you know, how their ears are flat against their heads). Also reminds me of a French (translated to English) comic called "Asterix" (nothing to do with grammar and punctuation here). The main character, Asterix the Gaul, almost constantly wears a metal helmet with wings. The wings reflect his moods. When he's mad, the wings are flat and back a little, when he's happy or feeling really good in general, they perk up until they're vertical, and when he's sad, they sort of flop over the sides of the helmet.

I think my dad has an "Asterix" comic book that he brought home from France, only it wasn't translated...naturally. I think I remember that helmet guy and there's a wizard with them isn't there?

Not a wizard, a druid. The druid (the guy with the red cape and white robe) is Getafix, who brews the potion that gives superhuman strength to whoever drinks it.

Yeah, try to get a translated version or something, it's pretty funny. There's a whole series of these books, and you either have to go to the library or buy them. I haven't had a chance to read all of them, the ones I read are only the ones in the public library that I can find. Maybe I should look in the bookstores next.
