Whoo, felt good to do some WOD arts after all those commissions which I still have three more to do.
Well, the semester has started and WOD is bombarded with tons of text readings and confusing physics homework. Then I got an allergic infection of sorts and that's had me smeared for a week so far, then I'm still trying to get my portfolio done to turn into the BYU visual art dept. I"M SO CLOOOOOSE! I just have to finish filling my sketch book.
Like, here is why this portfolio is scary.
Last I spoke with the V.A.D. member they chose only 15 students out of 70 that applied. And then I've taken 16 art classes that I'm hoping will all transfer but that is also determined by my portfolio (which means it has to convince them to not make me retake any of the courses and spending thousands more on tuition.) Not to mention in the V.A.D. application it has specific instructions on what they want in the portfolios from various majors and the illustration Major's requirements is like, two paragraphs long. IN comparison the photography requirements was like...one or two sentences.
SO, I have to provide 15 of my best works mounted on matte board; 15 figure drawings submitted in an easy to view format because the pages are huge., then a sketch book filled with drawings from life and imagination none of which can be derivative of other works what so ever. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!
Life is crazy! Oh and I have to start on my final project for one of my classes already. 8|
so if WOD goes crazy you'll at least know what led up to it. XD
Stay tuned ya'll.
